DANIEL ODDONE
Plastic artist

Argentine, was born on May 25th, 1954 in 9 de Julio, Province of Buenos Aires. He began his studies at the age of 6, with Professor Susana Di Benedetto, Marta Ochoa and then with Olga Gornatti. In Buenos Aires perfected with the Masters Atilio Laguzzi and Ana Coletta. Highlight of his works the refined "Veladuras y transparencias" (Bloom and transparencies).

He studied sculpture and its various techniques with Adrian Harari teacher from the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires. After those studies He took to the sculpture, new techniques and also used unconventional materials, to create different textures and shapes.
In decor is highlighted by its "Obras esculturales" (Sculptural works) Expanded his knowledge with studies of scenery and lighting.

The techniques of his own creativity has been publicly known for his participation on cable television, in TV shows such as "Bricolage" on Utilisima Satelital (air to all the Spanish speaking countries),and "Ideas y pinceles" (Brushes and ideas)at the Magazine channel in Argentina.

In 1998 he obtained the posts as a Professor of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture at the Sociedad Argentina de Escritores SADE (Argentine Society of Writers), Club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Buenos Aires (GEBA) and the Parish of Belgrano Santiago Apostol (Buenos Aires). He exposed his art as individual, in groups and collectively in different galleries.

He is also a poet and writer. Recently was published his first book of poems entitled "De amor y soledades" (From love and loneliness). It was declared municipal interest by the Honorable Deliberating Council of the city of Buenos Aires, File No. 205/06. He is chairman of the International Association of Cultural Events in Argentina; chairman of the Sub-Commission on fine arts at the Club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Buenos Aires; editor of the magazine Art and Life, was part of the jury of the Argentine Society of Writers at the First Feria Internacional del Tango in 1997.

Is the director of "Daniel Oddone International Art Space". He has obtained the first prize of honor with the Gold and Silver medals, and special mentions as a prominent artist. The Argentinean Chamber of Deputies on September 23rd, 2003 declared his exhibition "Retrospective" as cultural interest for the country. That exhibition was held at the Hall of Lost Steps at the Congress building. On October 27, 2005 the same exhibition was held at the White Room of the City Hall of his own town 9 de Julio, Province of Buenos Aires.

Currently his art work is participating in various galleries in Buenos Aires; as well many of his works are shown out of Argentina. Some of the cities and galleries overseas are Bari, Brindisi and Trani (Italy), in "El catalejo" gallery (Spain). In the United States in S.I. Fine Arts (New York) and Weatherburn Gallery (Naples, Florida.) since 2006.
From 2007 also in "The Xpo / Jan Larsen Fine Art (New York) and participates in a collective exhibition at the Gallery du Soleil (Miami, Florida). In 2008 Oddone´s works are shown in the USA, Spain and Canada. Since 2009 returns to Galleries and Cultural Centres in Argentina with abstract and Hyper realistic works. In 2010 has participated in collective shows in the USA and Europe. In 2011, he has participated in shows in Europe, USA and Argentina.
